I never took them. I took the basic all inclusive science course and realized I wasn't good at science. This was a surprise because everyone thought I had the proper analytical mind set for it. It is true that I have an analytical mind. I have well developed reasoning capabilities (though as I've gotten older I've realized it's not superhuman reasoning or anything. I'm not a genius. I just have a basic level of intellect) anyway that wasn't the problem. I could put together a hell of a thesis but just didn't reallly have the eye for detail required for scientific rigor. Also I've learned that I'm not so great with abstract thought. Math was my best subject for ages despite the fact that I didn't particularly enjoy it, and then they started throwing trig and quadratics and stuff at me and I started failing a lot of math. That probably also held me back. That was a big disapointment because I found science fascinating and biology in particular but you got to run with what you're good at. As it turned out for me that was literature so that's what I do now.

i still dont know why iM a BS chemistry student...i hate chemistry!!!
but now, i have to shift to BS Biology..i excel in biology...
biology is more FUN than CHEMISTRY....

In 8th grade my class dissected a frog. I didn't want to but I thought it was mandatory. The liquid used to preserve the frogs squirted into a guy's mouth somehow, it was really gross. It all smelled bad and I never want to do that ever again; even though I may have to dissect a cat Senior year.

The chemistry class I am taking this year is so boring. I ended up having the teacher I tried escaping last year. The latest project is calculating the density of pennies and figuring out whether pennies minted before 1982 differ from ones minted after 1982.

biology was stupid cuz it was just straight memorization and im taking ap chem cuz honors was awsum last year. our teacher blew up so many thing XD

I was lucky that I didn't have to take either but I had friends who kinda enjoyed the classes but another friend who absolutely refused to dissect the frog so she ended up doing some other work, her teacher was pretty nice about it.

I don't like both..and i don't have chemistry this year and i'm glad but biology yea =/

lol. we dont do that much disecting in bio, but we loads of fun stuff in chemistry..its a shame im shit at them both coz i dont actually learn anythin when we have fun

My biology in HS was such a waste. We never dissected anything. My lazy teacher just let us memorize things . But I'm glad we dissected animals in college. Though that was not biology, it was anatomy.

I love chemistry. Mixing solutions are fun.
