i will try and learn japanese for real soon but you do pick up some words u notice this when u get impatient and try and watch a raw version and pick together the pieces though when they talk for longer then 10 seconds u get lost lol

Other than a few words, not really. I really don't think Anime is a good standing point for how Japanese actually talk beyond a few key phrases and formal titles.

It did, however, inspire me to get a copy of the Japanese Rosetta Stone discs so I can learn it the correct way. Writing is a different story, but at least I can slowly understand more of the speech.
