I like the ring and i know that a lot of you are not going to agree with me lol
but i put one missed call and the eye together because they are both new movies here in the U.S and i wanted to get all of the remakes on there that are already out.

I thought the Eye was a really good adaption of the movie to western ideals while still keeping the same main storyline and events~
The grudge was decent, but only the first one.
THe rest all thumbs down, n it's gonna be thumbs down for Shutter too

I didn't see the US version of THE EYE because I wasn't too impressed with the original in the first place.
The US remake of DARK WATER sucked hideiously.
The US remake of the RING was very well done - music composition, atmosphere, acting...
So I choose the GRUDGE as better than the original. US version is much better put together, easier to follow, compared to the original which was a hundred times more all over the place in time and space.

The Ring was good, but they changed too much of the original story, which in my opinion was way creepier. The Grudge wasn't too bad. Everything stayed the same except for the American actors. Dark Water was good, but there was something about it I didn't like. Maybe I wanted to see Mitsuko all muddy again I thought Pulse was horrible, and One Missed Call was just as bad. The Eye was really good though, I enjoyed it a lot. Haven't seen Shutter yet. The "A Tale Of Two Sisters" remake should be coming out soon too. Hope they don't ruin it. They renamed it "The Uninvited", which is the name of another K-Horror. WTH were they thinking?

I'm not going to deny that I absolutely loved the remake of The Grudge. I screamed a lot in the theater. That and there was a hole in the ceiling right about my chair. T____T Good times.
