um..it depends on how bad you are? the worse you are, the more difficult to change.
and there goes 'the leopard doesn't change its spot'
THUS, there are situations where people find it difficult to believe a person could change for better.

No, but typically its a case of a righteous person being slowly corrupted by the inequities of the internets. I believe that was written in the Bible somewhere.

Well it's 50 50.
Everyone makes mistakes so cut the person a little slack.
It all depends on the situation and person.
The person must have the strive to change for the better.

Everyone changes..I work with people who were total druggies..meth, coke and whatnot.. and are/were in jail a.k.a work release. they are some of the coolest and nices pepole i know.. you would never know that they did all teh stuff they did or were in jail if you didnt ask them. So yes in my opinion people can change for the better.

i dont see why a person cannot chage for the better.... are you implying that a person is more likely to change for the worst?
in todays society it could be.... better for other peoples view could be "worse" for others.....
it could depend on the situation of the change that occured though... but i believe that a person can change for the better... who would in the right mind would want to become worse than they are?

People change no matter what, better or worse. I think age has a lot to do with how that person changes. I If you're young it's easier to change to make your life better so that you can have a happy family and career life and so on becasue it seems that you have all that time to do it. If you're older it's harder because you've been a certain way for so long and the people around you have been used to the way you've been that it seems pointless to change even if you know that it will make everything easier.

People can change for the better if given a chance. I think a lot of people would like to change for the better, but people keep putting them down because of what they do but they aren't willing to give a helping hand.

For a person to change in something you believe is wrong; I believe it can be a tough thing to have faith in. There are so many factors: the person's mentality, emotional conviction, environment, upbringing, etc. Let's not forget the fact that they have to be genuinely willing.

I think a lot of the problem is that we talk about how change is a good thing; yet, we don't really care about changes if it's someone we don't like or care about. Most of us would rather see them punished to fulfill our personal emotions rather than to help them.

I believe they all change for a better.

Why? Ah, a killer was arrested for killing...And he have many options to go by.

1. Learn how to kill without getting caught, change for better.
2. Stop killing, and be with the public. Change for better.
3. Kill himself and be done with it. Change for better.

So, can you really define changes for a better? No.

In example 1, the killer upgraded himself for the better, thus changing.

In example 2, he goes with the public and try to be accepted into the 'General Opinions', thus changing.

In example 3, he died and the relatives of those he killed thinks he deserves it. Thus, a better punishment for him.

As long as we are not invovled in the accident with this killer, we're all in example 2. Public opinions, where we judge him worthy of returning back to society. We're all humans, we think like what we are supposed to think. Emotion and logic brings you about thoughts, so we always change, whether for the better or bad. It's not a 50/50 chance regarding this matter, for it's a 100% thing we chose to do.

It was only viewed 50/50 in the eyes of other, and you can't decide for yourself. There's always a push for something that drives you to do something, so there is only really one path ahead of you.

it really hurts me when people are saying that in the future I would become a gangster or whatever related to it
they don't even know my true soul
I might be an emotionless and crazy type of person
but I also have a heart
I'm just not opening it to anyone
even to my own family
no one would understand anyway

If it was that easy, we wouldn't have all these idioms and phrases now.

"Once a liar, always a liar"
"A leopard can never change it's spots"
"A fool at 40 is a fool forever"
