I think its up to that person whether she/he wanna change for the better or not.
But after seeing my brother, i have to say Yes.

Some change, some don't. The biggest change is when a bad person finally dies.

i think people shouldn`t think THEY can change OTHERS (better or worse)

i know i hear how ppl change only with the help of others, support blahblahblah (studying psychology and all)
but honestly, i believe that it`s 100% up to the person themselves - since i also believe in self-sufficiency and efficacy.
a person who might want to better themselves is going to be selective in who he lets influence him to be better or worse anyways, so i think that it`s already up to the person, as the person has to decide whether he wants to listen to other`s people advice or not.

Like the quote said "what doesn't kill us makes us stronger", I turned that idea around by thinking "what doesn't make us stronger will kill us, ourselves included". When "borrowed strengths don't last".

i think its hard for most people to believe that people can change.

I personally think they can. Well it depends on the definition of change. I think they always think like themselves it just takes them longer to understand things a different way. Their own ideas are always their but it takes them a while to realise they themselves don't agree with themselves. People may be doing something they subconsciously think is wrong and they don't yet realise why they should think it wrong or why they should care, so at the time it is thought of as the right thing in their minds.

and I know everyones wants to judge theifs and such but i find it interesting that they can see beyond others ideas of right and wrong and not pick a side till they really know. True they may be only thinking of themselves but i think they have just not yet realised they care.

sometimes they end up having more of a heart than ignorant people.

'Let me take apart what you said and say it how I see it."

The red..... I start with that....
Wen I read that It makes me think of religion.. Religion is like a crutch or borrowed strength.. It might seem like it helping you, but in the end its only harming us.

what doesn't kill us makes us stronger" In blue " Is natural if the trait aids you or does not harm your survival, than it will be past on. In away making us stronger.

Orange::: This to me is a trait like.. A cat that relies on his speed and balance to hunt.. gets a shorter tail.. This will make it harder for him, being the longer tail aids in its balance wen hunting at high speeds. Enviably casing this cat to die off before it can breed and pass on its traits.

Your philosophical words have been translated to science and logic.

No, it's not hard to believe. It happens every day.

It's one of the miracles of life.

If they have drug or alcohol problems I would drop them in a second. if the clean for five years maybe. Once a thief always a thief.

Absolutely not, it could be possible but it still depends on the person him/herself.

We always change. Whatever it if for better or worse depends...

You can change your views and opinions but what is done, is done and you have to live with it.

The "once a thief always a theif" thing... it depends on the extent: did they go around breaking into houses and steeling computers or such or did they shoplift candy as teens? technically both are thieves...
I will not judge a person just because they might have stolen something at one point in their life. Because I have no knowledge of their reasons.

If a thief say they have changed I'll forgive them, I wont trust them entirely until they've proven themsleves turstworthy but I'll forgive them.
But the ones I don't trust to ever change are rapists and pedophiles.

depends on what quirks you don't like...
Like everything else in life, stuff depends on everything else.

If you refuse to put change for the better into effect, then you aren't going to get where you want to go.
