I usually can't finish romance series. The characters either seem laughably fake or seem like they would be good girlfriends if they were real, but i know they aren't , which is kinda depressing. Plus, in stories where there's competition between female characters, the girl i've been pulling for never 'wins' (like the this-thread-popular Ichigo 100% and Love Hina), which makes the end disappointing.
That said, Midori no Hibi, despite having the least probable circumstance, and Love Hina, despite the disappointing choice at the end, are the most romantic ones i enjoyed enough to finish.

Absolute Boyfriend was awesome! Not only was it romantic, but it was hella funny too. But it's not the most romantic for me. I think the most romantic is Shinshi Doumei Cross. There are tons of chapters when you get to stumble upon an incredible twist. And in every chapter you get to see how romantic it is. <3
Strictly speaking, well, it is good. And that's just it. Romantic, lovely, and cute. Love it. <3
