It's awesome to finally see Natsu, Happy and Lucy in the animated form. However I'm curious as to how long the series will run for, after all the manga is already 16+ volumes long and still going.

If It does not become a shallow fad maby 12 to 24 episodes. Unless it becomes a fad like Naruto or Bleach it will not reach more than that. Instead it be a great little anime that never really gets to the meet of the series like Berserk!!
