White-ish is usually korean, japanese, or chinese
Yellow/light tannish: vietnemese, combodian
Dark tannish: fililpino, thai

Sometimes it's just instinct.

That is how I do it but the way you put it sounds bad for some reason.

it depends...like some people who are chinese look more chineser than other chinese people so it depends...

lol
that's true

anyways, sometimes you can tell, sometimes you can't tell. It all depends on how exposed you are to that asian culture and how many times you see that group of asians. You can never be sure/right unless you ask though.

clothes, hair style, there's always a tiny bit differences of their clothes style and hair style between Korea, Japan, and China... well if they all wearing t-shirt and jeans, and having mushroom haircut, then it's really hard to tell the difference..

and sometimes i can tell by lookin at eyes.. idky..

Sometimes I can tell by the eyes and even lips (weird, I know), but not really, and sometimes just by the way they're built (sorry, couldn't think of a better word, but things like height and stuff)...I dunno really, haha, sometimes you just kind of know...instinct(?) I guess

Hey hey thats not really how to tell the difference. I'm from Singapore where is a multi racial society. Basicly whether u are either Chinese, Malay, Indian or Ang Moh (slang for western ppl). but come to think of it korean, japanese, thai etc etc are all from China long time ago.
