i'm seriously praying every night that the next F&F movie will NOT include the new GTR... -___-;;
casting calls have already been made for high-performance cars only (they're focusing on lexus/infiniti/evo/sti/supra/etc. for the 4th movie).

i guess the infiniti that they said would b the r35? i seriously dont see them racing around with the g37. =/

G35's and G37's and even M-series and even VIP cars like the Lexus LS and GS series are being considered.
plus let's face it... F&F is just like PIMP MY RIDE.
The people calling the shots and making design decisions are n00b-minded scenario writers who know very little about such subjects. just like F&F made Vtech, grannyshifting, double-clutching and "NAWSS" household terms, PMR made 30" spinners on a small sedan with a giant aquarium inside 'tha shit'.

i'm hoping they don't abuse the new GTR or other newer hop-ups... Evo and STi i don't mind because the STi looks like a kia and the Evo is a tank with less hp than its previous years.

I agree with that, the skyline should not be ruined in the movie. I can't believe what they did to the S2000.. I mean shit that girl was a butterface aswell.. and why do all teh F&F movies include black rappers? WTF!

wow, you'd sell it? I like the idea of the blue and silver but all the vinyl and other shit ruins it. The skyline is worth way more plus it only cost what, $3000 for a decent new paintjob and $1-2 grand for some sexy new rims.

The reason they called the infiniti G35s a skyline is because they wanted them to sell better.. Actually the CV35 is a sexy car. Twin Turbo V8 VQ45 enginee.. well anyway smoky nagata made his own skyline out of an infiniti G35 and it was (like all his auto-salon and drift vehicles) a master piece and pure sex!

Also, I watched this japanese movie called "Drift, Drift II and the making of Drift" the movies were quite terrible and they used automatic transmission. Horrible!!

i dont see why people pay so much for s2000's. guy over here a couple of years ago at the car show was first to the dyno, only got 115 hp. i'll never forget the disappointed face of the owner though. atleast i got enjoyment out of it.

lol you sound like an ass for saying that :O but its because they have RWD and luxury.. I mean its a 2-Door, leather, RWD. I know its quite impractical but its the next best thing you can get from honda other than the Honda NSX.

i couldn't help it, the guy had a smugness about him before it. they first dyno test, he lost it nice and quick till they gave him some false hope telling him there was probably a mistake and to do it again if you dont mind risking your tires. he was like relief... then it was like nope, still sucks balls. his face became priceless and all his friends were looking everywhere else but at him or the car. too amusing. *thinks you're probably right... no other honda comes to mind to rival it..... thats a very sad thing indeed...glad i dont drive one.

haha that reminds me of the smugness episode of southpark .. well anyway, the car is obviously a bitch for doing long trips and kills your back/ass. I would say its more for aesthetics and honda-enthusiast drifting.. cause a used S2000 is still cheaper/easier to find than an NSX. When I was working at a Honda dealership we had 2 S2000, a used yellow with 60,000 km which was around $50,000 and a new one with like 127 km and it was $57,000. I couldn't believe the mark up on it and still the fugly yellow one was sold first. Also the dude who bought it came in 2 weeks later cause he broke the transmission and he demanded it to be fixed by a warranty but was denied lol.

apparently the fine print wasn't clear to him that he needed all the parts with him and not spread all over the road

well i'd love to blame the individuals but i also think a large part of the blame goes to bad traffic. making nearly everyone who's in a hurry catch public transport much more regularly and leaving cars as a once a week or weekend thing if that. practice makes perfect and all... on the other hand, he was probaby just being a dick a mistook 2nd for 4th or something

LMAO yeah, probably trying to show off and make some little civic kid look bad and mis-shifting than breaking it.. but still thats pretty pathetic plus i waste of money, i mean that car was not worth it, the luxury wasnt as decent nor was the color. My god it was tweety bird yellow.. anyway he could have bought something more appealing.

so now you're agreeing with me, s2000's suck this is the beginning of the rest of your life, from now everything will taste better. look sexier. be better. want proof?? you dont need money to be happy now, send it to me.... for safe keeping and learn what your new world is all about. i really dont even think they're good looking cars at all. i think they're a business mans play thing that dont realise just how crap they are. so they can tell all their friends they drive a convertable sports car.... when it's working...

lol, well I wouldn't say they are crap.. I would say they are too over-priced due to dealership markups, though. I mean it isn't all that bad, its 240hp, 153 lb-ft of torque and very light for only $34,400 which is $5000 more than the new Civic Si but than you have the bullshit markup price which skyrockets what you pay. Also, I don't believe business men would go for such a car as this.. I believe they would be more into exotics and well recognized cars. As I said earlier, this would be a car for Honda enthusiasts who want to drift. Even though a RW conversion, LSD and new transmission on their civic would be cheaper, unless it was one of the new Civics. lol.

so wasteful. theres already loads of cheapish drift cars out there. im guessing you just want this for a change of pace. *had no idea they were 240hp. more than enough for tiny car.

yes not worth the pay but people have preferences such as Honda over other manufacturers and preference to aesthetics. Sorta like the Acura badge better than the Honda. People dont realize acura is honda owned or that they dont use acura namesake in Japan. People hate on cars like integra GSR when they driving an RSX-S DC5 Integra.. I use this example cause it comes up quite abit. Well Im a nissan enthusiast anyway.. Silvias, Skylines, Datsun Fairladyz, Infiniti G35/G37. I'm sad that Honda is getting rid of the NSX though and they discontinued the Preludes. Mechanics at my old dealership wanted to put an NSX engine into a prelude and do RW conversion, welding, some other stuff as a project car, I wish I still worked there.

I don't really drive trucks, but I drove Honda CR-Vs and I loved 'em. I want to try out the Nissan Titan and do off-roading

i can only imagine nsx engines would cost a fortune these days. all the nsx owners wouldn't want to part with anything they had and keep spares from others they can find. always prefered the acura name. hondas just over used :P. silvias are just baby skylines :P. think fairladys are sweet when twin turbo'd but hondas are everywhere. im sick of seeing them. i dont even think we get infinti's where i live so i have no clue at all about them. *looked up some pics and cant tell at all. *hates 4wd's designed for town use. theres nothing more annoying.... well except for taxis.... and cyclists, than getting stuck behind them. makes me want to scream

yes, you can still get an NSX engine without having to purchase it from a parted out NSX or Junkyard, the factory in Japan which currently produce Honda S2000, also still make the NSX engines because they are used in some JGTC cars though they aren't for production, I believe they are only for custom made and yeah I suppose they are top dollar, taboot. Yes, Honda are over used, civics are everwhere but what do you expect when you have a cheap, reliable econobox with lots of available parts for replacing or upgrades.

Oh you mean the Z32? I was refering to the Datsun Fairlady 240z, 260z and 280z. I personally love them. The Nissan Z32 has same rear but I hate its fugly headlights and its a heavy car with a wide engine bay though having a large engine bay isn't a bad thing. Infiniti are part of nissan, They are known to be skylines but they technically aren't, except for the CV35 Skyline which was a pre-production of a Skyline R35 made by the world famous auto-salon stylist Smoky Nagata who couldnt wait for the real "R35" to start production (which never happened).
