well the sriviling up part... if you're born that way (with curlely hair) then you really cant do much about it. unless you straighten it like every day... which would take hours if you have long hair, especially if you're a male with curlely hair. where as female have more of a wavy hair and it's easier to go with any style for them. males you can only go so much so... yea... and the lighter part, i usually have hice fluffy hair as soon as im done taking a shower so i just usually blow dry it up to dry and make it light, then after that if i really want it to stick and stay light i just wax or gel it. simple. and your hair being curlely well that's genes. so the only way for that to go is using products but usually the products that you might use to make your hair not curlely will usually end up also not making your hair look light. w/e it's your choice to choose from which you want to and not want to use. just experiment a bit and find the right kinda mix for yourself.

Hey I have a question. Is there like any consequences into getting my hair like relaxedd (or something that sounds like that)? My cousin had that. Before his hair was like curly and stuff but after he got his hair relaxed, it was all straight and flat.

Isn't it called 'Straightened'? Well, there are consequences of course. Chemical straightening damages your hair.

actually there is two types
you can get the chem straighten one which is more damaging to the hair and its not reversable it just grows out
OR
you can get the relaxer. its similar to the chem one but cheeper and less damaging... the only things it doesnt make it STRAIGHT just relaxes the hair so its less frizzy and easier to straighten....

my hair is curlyfrizzy!! MAJORLY and its thick! i straighten it everyday! my hair is still healthy as hell too lol i use alot of conditioner! aha but i have a really good straightener its called the Chi its expensive but worth it!

hope this helps! =]

Ne, ne guys. What do you guys recommend to properly straighten your hair? Not including chemically doing so and ironing. When I got my haircut, they blowdried it and I was all ... "That isn't my hair isn't it?" [In shock of perfectly straight hair]. So I tried blowdrying when I felt like it but my efforts were in vain. Hahaha. Do you guys have any tips for properly blowdrying your hair? Thanks ne~ ^^

lol i know this one too!! i prefer the straightner tho lol but you need to first buy a round soft brush do you know what they are?
and your going to take hair piece by piece and blowdry it as you comb it through the brush!

on average how much should a person straighten their hair? i usually do it like 1-2 times a day (when hair is dry) and i've haven't noticed any damages but my hair is starting to poof alot so im just wondering should i keep going? my hair has thin alot after like my 2nd week of straighting my hair.

also i have a cow-lick (where the front part of your bang sticks up like a cow just came by and licked it <,<... bad part is it's only on on side of my bangs!!! >.<) on my right hair bang so it always sticks up and i want to get that down... how do i do that w/o using massive amounts of gel? should i just straighten it over and over until it stays or maybe wax it in place?(takes quite a rub down) i'd like other methods that involves the least amount of products and ironing, i was hopeing more for like maybe a shampoo (doubt there's ones) but any thought counts i'll take any idea cause my hair, especially bangs are starting to frizz.

thank you ^-^!!

lol well i straighten my hair 1-2 times every single for about 4 yrs now and my hair is long as hell and still pretty thick... yes it has thinned out a bit but i never stopped and ppl tell me my hair is very healthy looking and are surprised when i tell them how long i have been straightening it... sooo i would say keep going! lol but then again everyones hair is different....so dont kill me if your hair does fall out! ahahaahahahaaha no really tho... =]

I recently had my bangs cut, and it is UGLY!!! They're cut straight across slightly to where my eyebrows are. It's horrible. I look retarded.

Within 2 weeks how long does your hair grow?
Is there anything that can help with hair growth? Any products? Foods?! I'll do anything!!

mhm its layered...idk what exactly to say but the easiest way to get what you want is to bring a picture if you cant perfectly explain it. so you could always print out one of those pictures and just bring it with you =]

If you layer it than it is easier to put in wax i thought and if you thinning it than it is easier to let it umm,,
stand up so your hair is not heavy

i am not sure but i think this is it..
Mostly i do both when i am going to cut my hair Ghehe since i have a lot of hair <_<;
