Sometimes there are people who are so into the world of animes or dramas that they see them as realities. These would not be problems unless they drown themselves in those fantasy worlds. You can say that Dramas are reflections of people's hopes and perfect situations. or, they can be actions they think would be impossible to happen in real life that they have to be in dramas or animes.

Because of this, there are people who think that the things they see in drama will happen in real life very easily. I dont know if they will, but I think that things do not come just because you want them to come, but through some hard work, or some courage. not just luck that you often see in animes, or Dramas. what do you think?

Well, when I watch dramas or animes I often learn something from it. Not that I'm imagining that those things really are happening but I am able to see the moral lesson that the certain drama/anime want to point out.

For me(just for emphasis that I am talking about myself), yes, that's why I'm sadistic and cynical, but then at every ending there is a lesson, most of the time.

Everything you do[, see, feel, etc.] in your life affects your subsequent actions. Watching an Anime or Drama is no exception to this rule. What you have seen will be wired into your brain, it will create, strengthen or weaken pathways which otherwise may have remained unchanged. These pathways will then be less or more likely to fire, and certain actions will be less or more likely to occur.

Well, there are no deep truths revealed to me through anime or drama, but just like in literature there may be situations/conflicts that make me think about something I normally wouldn't have turned my thoughts towards, which never is bad. Plus, some storylines give some psychological insight on characters, I'm not sure if I ever applied anything out of it to real life, but there is a possibility that a certain anime/drama shapes your point of view on certain things.

But that's not what you asked. No, I don't expect life to take the same turns as drama or anime are likely to do, I guess in that case there'd be nothing exciting about fiction anyways?

It actually depends on what type of anime/drama that we watch. some Jap animes and dramas have certain positive morals or attitudes incorporated in them. While we watch, we do learn sometimes. Such values absorbed may change our perspectives of life or something else. The magnitude differs, but more or less affects us.

Yep yep, I agree.

Like when I watched 14 sai no haha, I thought, "damn, I'm not even gonna get a bf until I'm like 30 " but I have one currently --.--

And when I watched Nobuta wo Produce, I thought, "I really shouldn't judge people or treat them bad if I don't know them." nah...still haven't changed much
