I feel like I know too much about makeup for my own good. Oh well, that's what you get for helping your best friend (now she's my girl friend YAY!) with her makeup for 14 years. Oh yeah, I guess my taste is just not in mascara...yeah, Melanie wonders about that too. I nono, i guess it looks good to other people.

anyone know a really good moisturiser with spf? my skins dry but also oily. probably dry becos products ive used r to harsh so its hard trying to find a good mosituriser that wont dry me out but will stop my skin bein so oily. alot of moisturiser for dry skin goes on to oily i want sumthin matte and will make my skin soft. clarins is really gd but i want sumthin better!

ive tried these: dermalogica, biotherm, sephora, clinique, nivea and elizabeth arden.

i use Aveeno Ultra Calming Daily Moisturizer with spf 15. after that i apply liquid foundation, sometimes just loose powder. i had acne and now i'm undermedication so i can't go out without sunscreen. it's actually pretty good, a bit shiny when applied but it's not oily since my face is getting better and softer. i just add some lipbalm and top it with a lipgloss then i'm all set ^^ not a big make-up fan though

The Dramatically Different Moisturizing Gel by Clinique is awesome (which one can tell since it is Clinique's best-selling product, just that it doesn't have spf though. You can try that and then use a sunblock on top of that but you have used Clinique before.

I LOVE Younha!!!

She uses mascara too. This is her:

Just at a casual glance, she uses mascara, curls her lashes, uses white eyeliner, colours her brows and uses a lip gloss on lipstick. You contradict yourself, you love Younha but dislike girls who use mascara.

lol i don't dislike girls with mascara, I just would like them better without. And I love her music XD She's really pretty I must admit, but I really don't notice her lashes...I have weird taste for a guy I suppose...the first place I look is generally either the nose or the lips, not the eyes. Oh yeah, I think its the action of putting on the mascara, not the mascara itself. lol i nono XD

14. chappy lips? put vaseline on ur lips for 5 munutes then brush it out with a tooth brush
it makes ur lips soft.

^ If you don't have a tooth brush, you may use tissue.

If your mascara dries up, add two/three drops of baby oil and mix well. good as new.

I hope you mean if you don't have a spare toothbrush, since technically everyone should have a toothbrush.

When you're in a situation where you don't have a toothbrush eg. dinner, clubbing or you have soft/sensitive lips, you may use tissue. I use tissue as the toothbrush is too hard and rough. Furthermore toothbrush can be bulky/difficult to carry around. Don't use the same toothbrush for your teeth to brush your lips. Unhygienic!

i have a rather oily complexion. (sp?)
wearing any eyeliner on the top lid tends to smear and stuff.
so i put foundation before i put on the eyeliner.
works wonders. (:

i love make up!! .there is a secret to everything and you guys should trust me it really works
i recently got first place in district for cosmetology (make up) and im going to state wish me luck ! =D

Love makeup too!
I'm trying to get a better look for my eyes.
I used black eye liner on top and under my eyes but it seems to smudge and the color isn't as dark or smooth appearing as I would like. Any advice on what else I can use?

I noticed that I'm getting sun spots on my face, I want smooth looking skin and something to get rid of the spots or at least make it less visible. I know foundation covers it up, but I want it gone not covered up. Any tips?

Oh, I agree w/ you about making your eyes look bigger by using the eye liner only mid way. I was trying new stuff [which I usually do with makeup] and noticed that. Nice catch!
