Nuclear bomb.

They're so powerful, and yet nobody dares to use them.

those bean bag guns a person who is flat stone is numbed from pain. for example saw this clip where a guy shatered his wrist to brake the hand cuffs he was in and didnt feel a thing cause he was high on LSD. and seeing how most of the crimes are commited by people under the influence of drugs or alchohol. its usless.

Uh they obviously have been used. Take them for what they are - weapons of last resort. And some say its highly likely they will be used again...sometime soon. But its not the guys with 10,000 of them to especially worry about, but the guy with one.
Anyway, a difference between being usable and useless, I'd say.

My pick:
Flying Guillotine (aka throw a hat on someone in order to cut of their head)

Ooo, definitely magnifying glasses are the most useless weapon o_O

They only work against very small opponents, like ants...and they need the sun to make them work.

Wasn't 61st Anniversary Of The Bombings of Hiroshima And Nagasaki at 8:15 on August 6. The modern world transforms quickly, the profound changes between now and 1945 are the perfect example. Anyway, nobody is going to be using nuclear weapons again. Not anytime soon. However, if they did, we could say goodbye to civilization as we know it. I would hate to see Bush behind a nuclear war.

America has enough nuclear capability to wipe out an entire sixth (I believe that’s the correct fraction) of the word population. Which is shocking since there is more than six billion people in the world. That’s with the blast and immediate effects of the shockwave and radiation. In other words even if nobody fired a nuke at America we’d be hurting by our own if they were actually deployed.

Still, nuclear weapons play a major roll in keeping the mutual fear between nations. So, they do serve a purpose. As far as the most useless weapon in the world… Well, I’ll have to say some of the earliest attempts at guns. The idea was there, but the quality and use not so much. Mind you, on large scale they were and are more efficient than bows and arrows, but for the individual…

Now this is a subject well within my element. While there were such fun little items such as the excelsior grenade (An American Civil War design just as likely to explode leaving your hand as when it hit the ground), nuclear artillery (I'm not kidding. America developed, built, and tested both a self-propelled 210mm gun and, of all things, a MORTER specifically designed to launch nuclear ordenance), and a good deal of Japanese WWII ordenance, I'm going to say the most usless weapon ( that was at least designed to be a weapon) is the French-made Chau Chau light machine gun. A dreadful weapon, by any standard. Non-interchangable parts, prone to jamming, a magazine that was both anemic and prone to giving the already cranky and ureliable action the mere excuse it needed to jam, and generally poor preformance. A horrible weapon, and the only light machine gun available to the American army in WWI. Hell, Hotchkiss guns would have been better, but for some reason it was decided that the Americans would have to make due with the Chau Chau.
