Going to Korea
|
Im going this summer again ^_^ Going to go see my relatives
Meh its okay. There is a lot of things to do though lol. But since i live in the countryside in korea it'll mostly be helping out in the fields xD But i do go to town a lot when im there! I love the little side stalls lol xD I think if i permanently lived in korea id eat so much id be a fat crap lol. Some of the sights are amazing though i must say. And since 70% of korea is mountains.. you may as well visit baekdo-san. (well im not sure how its spelt lol) Theres sooooooo many different types of kimchi you really cant get bored of it lol. Its really expensive going to korea though.. but if u can its definitely worth the visit |

Anyways Seoul is supposed to be like popular places in the US at least thats what I've heard from people stationed there. Well, I have been to many Korean restaurants and all of them serve kimchi. I wish I can go to Seoul someday, it's like i can bump into a celebrity every step i walk i totally agree... i never seen a Korean restaurant that DOES NOT serve a kimchi... when i lived in Korea, i smelled Kimchi every other days..... bdw taxis..... sometimes their cars stink because of the mixed smell of cigar, kimchi, money, and driver's body and breath... but it's amazingly cheap compare to Japan(japanese taxis are more formal and nice, but expensive) |

It depends where you are departing from. I know for me, if I plan 6 months in advance, I can usually book a round trip flight (mind you I stay a month or longer) for a little under $1000USD, sometimes cheaper. I live in Michigan though, so if you are on the west coast it could be different. Also, if price isn't that big of an issue, pick a flight that has a shorter duration time. Depending on how many lay overs you have, and where the flights are through, for me, I would rather pay 150 more and spend 5-6 hours less in transit. |

If you are going with a family then it might be different, you would probably end up saving tons more money for 3-6 tickets. Korea is overrated anyways, just stop when you get to Japan ^^ |
