I had long hair unfortunately it gave me a mullet look. It never would grow past my shoulders. Plus, my hair is super thin and fine.

I plan on getting long hair... (long as in a couple inches off the neck) but freaking private schools and their dumb hair guidelines.... so depressing when I get a haircut T.T not even allowed to touch my eyebrows

Do they let you grow it out if it is for something? An example being, if you were going to donate it to locks of love? I am actually a teacher, but got permission to grow my hair out if I were to donate it...

I like guys with longer hair. Hair that just covers their ears but doesn't quite reach their shoulders is ideal. I think it's cute. I really hate when guys get a buzz cut or shave their heads -- all that lovely hair, gone. What have you done?! T_T

I personally love guys with long hair. As long as the hair isn't ~super long, like more than 6 inches or so below the shoulder, then I totally love it.

I tend to alternate between short crew cut hair and ear-length long hair. It depends on my preferences at the time I suppose. I tend to have longer hair in the winter and shorter hair in the summer.
Long hair and short hair on men is the same as it is with women.
Some men can pull off one look and not another. It has a lot to do with the face and face and jaw structure.

Nope... they are completely unforgiving... but seeing as how im transferring to a different private school that just so happens to be less strict, I might be able to grow it closer to what I want.

Good, I have always thought that the hair requirements were unfair to students so hopefully it will work out better for you this time.

In terms of my opinion I like guys with hair thats quite short and length not more than shoulder
But I don't see why you'd want to grow your hair unless it is you don't give a crap about it, you feel more comfortable or it is necessary for example in religion (Sikhism or Hinduism- I think you can't cut it, right?)
But yeah that's my opinion, other than that I'll just say that it's you not me

It depends, if you're comfortable, looking good and descent with long hair than continue it is your hair and your choice nothing wrong with that

wouldn't it depend on the private school? i mean the school i was in they really wanted you to express your individuality (well until a new headmaster came in, in my final year and started changing everything.) but as long as you didn't look waaaay to out there you could have whatever hair you wanted as well as you could wear any pants you wanted with your uniform as long as it was black. some guys in my school had hair down to their shoulders
