In the anime, when he swears in his genin team he says "by the Clan of the Hatake" (which is not there in the manga) but I was wondering no other relatives? In Kakashi Gaiden his silver hair and chakra blade was like a signature -- so is he related to anyone with silver white hair in the anime.

I think Jihraiya has white hair, one of the Hokages - the second, Mizuki (Unfortunately) and a few more.

BTW, Tsunade's boyfriend is simply called Dan. ( think he had silver / white hair but I could be reaching)

Yes he has a father but he killed himself because he was shunned by the villiage because on a mission he either had to finish the mission or lose of his comrades,so he comitted suicide by all around else he was a good man.

Well it all says it right here thats part of the KakashiGaiden.

This is a pic of him but it only shows his back side.and his name is Sakumo Hatake.
I looked up Kakashi's mother on the internet but it said unkown.

kakashi's family is a total mystery. all we know is how his father died. if there was a hatake clan would that mean that they all look like kakashi???........that would be so awesome

Nice question there. We can simply just guess... Alot of times in the past, I always suspected Jiraiya is somewhat related to the Hatake clan because of his white hair, unknown family background status. Jiraiya is also very much a mysterious person till now. Erm, on second thoughts, don't seem to me that Jiraiya is related. The Hatake Clan is a mystery as much as Kakashi's, since we still aren't fully aware of Kakashi's life so lets all just spectaculate shall we? Wait for Kishi - sama to update us in the manga.

Yeah, I know I should wait but some things in the manga are never cleared.

i'm sooooooooooooooooo frustrated!!!! no one knows ANYTHING about anyone's mother!!!!! u ever notice that all u hear about is shikamaru's and sasuke's? y not kakashi-kun's?????????? i mean come on! we want 2 know!!!! kishimoto-sama should tell us about him, and soon!!!!!!!!!^^

Agreed. Many of the character's side stories might be revealed later, by the artist himself.

*sob* But someone pointed out to me the relationships he has with Jiraiya (who also has white hair not just because of age but because he was born that way) was one of uncle and nephew or something similar.
