I believe that you can learn through studying, but we should make a line between the difference in studying and memorizing. Memorizing is not learning, that's certain.

I don't think studying is entirely useless or useful. Some things like Math require studying to understand it and you'll use it in life. Other things like History makes me wonder... How will knowing this help me prepare for a career in Design?

I dont study at all, I have photographic memory so I dont really need it lol.

I once studied. The next day i had forgotten what i was trying to study and failed the test. Since then ive never stuided and past most ests through guessing the answers (Im good at guessing answers)

you can learn if you want to learn. Well, some people just never want to learn.

science = knowledge. knowledge is important therefore science is important (regardless of whether we like it or not). for one, i don't want to be a dumb ass all my life.

how do we acquire knowledge? we study.

somehow.. we can learn by studying...
but almost 70% of our life doesn't really depend on studying..
it depend on how we chose and how we apply what we have studied..

Studying for me is a CREATIVE WAY of learning something new..

Learning is fun and we all know that.

We cannot only learn from what we studied but also from our past EXPERIENCES.

We study because we want to learn and
To learn from our past experiences is to study.

Of course you need to study in order to learn something... but studying is not the same as memorizing!
so a person have to know some basic things in order to begin to ask him/herself about things... and when he/she ask him/herself about something he/she's learning!
so study for me (I've already learn this when i started college!) is not only studying (i mean read and memorize somethings that are really basic!) but also think about all the posibilities a thing can have!
studying is only useful when you think about it and ask yourself the "why"... if you dont do it you're only memorizing and that is stupid because you're gonna forget it right away..

studying is not only done in school but everywhere.
how can we possibly use our computers if we didn't study how to use...

We can learn from studying, but we can't progress from it. That comes from experimentation.
