I don't think so. Studying for me is revising. and I find it easier to learn in a class than to study alone.

Intelligence and knowledge isn't the same thing, but they're in the same neighborhood.

Studying gives you a vast amount of knowledge (assuming you keep remembering them), but intelligence is your ability to interpret information and analyze it properly. In other words, a person who had no intelligence but a lot of knowledge is basically a human computer. Can studying develop intelligence? Yes, but at a much slower pace than obtaining knowledge. By studying a lot, you can develop and increase your intelligence.

If you don't study how will you learn the basic principles of something and how will you be interested to know more information about it? We learn by studying, but all of us have differing approaches about it. Some are contented with teachers spoon feeding the lessons. Some like to experience it themselves by doing experiments or through observation. And some like to learn by themselves just because they heard or thought of something that they want to know.

I would say that the best learning experience will have to be custom-made based on what kind of learner each of us are individually, due to our own unique learning styles. When ultimately boys and girls learn differently(citation).

I guess home school it is. Image
