Well, I tell if someone is smart over the internet on how they type -_-"... If the type like 'ThiiIISss' then I classify them as idiots and block or delete them from my contacts ^_^ (BTW, that typing really pisses me off, its not necessary..)
In real life, I can pretty much tell by how people present themselves, and grades o.o

Meh...I don't think it matters particularily as long as you don't start judging people off what you percieve as high intelligence. There are always people who know less than yourself, and there are those who know much more than you. I'd much rather hang around with people who act and treat you with respect and kindness with a good upbringing. Anybody who treats you in a way you less than deserve are the idiots, no matter how much capacity their brain can hold together.

There are so many different types of smart;
-Educational
-Artistic
-Street
-Money
-Business
Any thing really can be considered smart depending on what youre doing. Smartness cant be measured as everyone does things differently to anyone else they know. The IQ test is not exactly a dependable way of measuring how smart a person.

There are different kinds of smart. Just because you are hot shit at school doesn't mean that you are overall smart. I know some people who are good at school but then are way out of their depth when it comes to other situations. People can be smart in fields that they specify in.
