there are alot of people even the doctors do not use math or do not even know the simple calculations. they have been through a lot of math to get to become a doctor, but math seems to be no use to them. similarly, there are alot of other professions needs math to graduate, yet during the period of the job, math would be in no use to them. why do you think people say math is a necessary skills for most of the proffesions, yet it becomes obsolete afterwards.

do tell...

No...math is beautiful, though...to keep your mind awake, practicing math might be one of the most important. But apart from that, fuck it.

you use math everyday even if you don't realise it.
you use math to judge distance. you use math when you put a stamp on.
you use math when you write a check.
there are various different forms of math.
I *yes surprisingly* even use Algebra regularly.
When i get done with my degrees i will be using triganometry regularly as well.
Math is a very big part of our lives.
And believe it or not, you need it.

I agree. Math is essential to mankind, without it we wouldn't have gotten this far. After all it's essential for businesses and engineering like the stock market, sales, buildings, and NASA. We use it in biology and chemsitry. We invent new things with math! Can calculate how old is a mummy burried over four thousand years ago! We used it to build machines that take us across the world like airplanes and one day across the solar system.

It'll be so awesome! Just watch! Math is my friend!

any profession or job even wherein time in hours is compesated with money in dollars (or any other form of currency from your part of the world) requires math. the logic skill developed from math are also applied all professions; for example, for the afformentioned doctor, breaking down a complicated surgery into smaller, ordered, and more managable parts is the same kind of logic used when processing formulas in algebra and calculas. I think we're required to study math all throughout school not to learn math exclusively but rather in order to teach people how to think (i.e. process information in an orderly fashion).

As an aspiring Aeronautical Engineer, I think I'm going to need to know well above advanced math skills. I like math anyway.
