RIP BOYBANDS.
Posted 3/4/08 , edited 3/4/08
Asia's boyband craze for example DBSK, Super Junior, NewS , Fahrenheit.
so my question is, when do you think this craze will die out in Asia or if it even will?
i hope it doesnt xD but things always come to an end so...opinions on this anyone?

nope. as long as theres girls and gay people out there they won't die out. those boybands generate money. their source of oney are those girls who frickin dream of kissing them by posters/CD's/tickets. you name it.

They'll never die in my world.
Maybe in the real world it will
I'll be sad when they do, cause I love them way too much. I don't have a social life because of it

maybe it will stop when everyone goes solo, but i think it should stay like this cause it suits them better cause its not like they can be rappers or something. maybe it will end when they start having a lot of rock bands replace boy bands

I don't think it will really die out completely, but it'll probably morph into a different style of pop eventually. I mean, at least in Thailand, there's a big difference between the music styles of the 80's boy bands, 90's, and today's, though all still bubblegum pop in their own sense.

this is true... Boybands are the best..well DBSK is.... theyre talented.....in reality MUSICIANS will only last if theyre TALENTED...if a band only have looks....they will not last coz TALENTS are forever...like my TALENTED DBSK who actually writes and compose songs...with their beautiful voice and super dance skills and i love their A cappellas and there so HOT

I agree, i think the music will just change, I don't think it would ever die out in asia, i mean as long as there's johnny's and sm, yg, etc, and parents that make good looking babies, we're gonna keep having these boy bands and girl bands

It's not just Asia. I mean, America's had its share of boybands (Backstreet Boys, and now, the Jonas Brothers). Little children have just grown up in a world where pretty boys with "stylish" clothes and fake voices just impress them. It's the cycle of life! And it's quite sad, actually.

the whole country's music are based on that.
it might get old, but i dont think they will ever lose
fans as long as they have the pretty face.
