The Dragonball series, more specifically Dragonball Z, because it was the first anime I'd ever watched so everytime I watch another anime, or at least another shounen-type anime, I can't help but compare them to the dragonball series in some way. It's just habit honestly, but one I can't break. I'm not saying that there aren't animes I've seen since then tat I haven't given higher ratings to than DBZ, but it's just one of my personal old Anime Legends that I'll always remember. Not to mention, when finally finished it by watching the last of Dragonball GT, it took me about two months to get over the shock that I'd actually finished it. The show I'd loved for so long was finally finished. Not too many anime endings have affected me so much as that one did long back in 2003.

Well the one I couldn't help but think of for weeks was School Days. God how I'd like to get that anime out of my head (even though it's amusing to read others comments and reactions to it). That ending man...

But aside from School Days, the most memorable for me was probably CardCaptor Sakura. There's so much sentimental stuff in there...and it's just so cute. Even though the anime finished so long ago, it's still really easy to find merchandise. It's just a really memorable series.

Oh my freaking god. That is seriously one of the funniest things I have ever seen. lol Freddie...

Anime that had the biggest impact on me was probably Grave of the Fireflies. It's one of my favorites, but I somehow can't bring myself to watch it. Every time I do, I sit and sob...

Fuck, that was awesome. I remember playing the game too.

Mine:
Vandread (shit, first anime I saw that used 3d models)
Daimos (seen when I was a kid, relived its awesomeness in Super Robot Wars Alpha 3)
Voltes V (same as Daimos)
Mobile Suit Gundam (everytime I see it in one form or another, I remember why it was good)
Space Runaway Ideon (I prefer to call it Densetsu Kyojin Ideon. Probably because of its ending and its themes.)

I find certain Western video games more memorable, usually. But at least I had stuff to mention.

Elfen Lied IS the most intense and memorable. But please hold all these violent scenes so those who aren't into this stuff don't have to get it thrown in their faces.

This shit happens to be normal with me, what with seeing animal roadkill on the way to college each day, as well as violent animes.

Most of the stuff I like are old, so...

Yah, but you've got to be thoughtful of others, man. The Nana scene always gives me shivers! And folks who really don't like Elfen Lied genuinnely dislike the gore factor. To each their own...

For older intense stuff, you meaning like the NInja Scroll movie? Great stuff! But it did treat women badly at times.
