Hotel626 is scary for me haha.

I don't get scared easily, but right now there are two games i could recommend,

Condemed 2 due to the realism, up until you gain super anime powers (ability to yell to kill every thing)
and
Parasite Eve, it did a great job of creating a dark envroment, it was a good mix of RPG and Survival Horror, the onyl problem is the low encounter rate

turn off the lights on your room, play Silent Hill with max volume = goosebumps!

I think the PC game FEAR and PS2 game Fatal Frame is scary

FEAR and Doom 3 made my flesh crawl. There is no character from a video game so intensely frightening as Alma Wade. Even Sadako Yamamura would run in fear from her.

I would say the Silent Hill series are one of the best horror games except for part 4 (reason: he can meele to well, not the average joe), because in Silent Hill ammunition is limited which causes you to save as many bullets u can find. The reasons y u wouldnt waste it because bullets are rare and the amount of shots neccessary to take down a deranged looking monster is not worth it since they constantly reappear anyways. You either have to use pipes, bats, and other meele weapons, but the problem is that your character is not physically capable of handling these monsters with meele anyways. You find yourself running away from all those creeps throughout the whole game cuz if u even try to fight them u find urself using heals which are also rare in the game. The dark atmosphere, loneliness, distorted images and limited supply of anything is what makes this game SCARY. Unlike resident evil which allows you to restock on ammunition????

i think FEAR aswel. though im not much of a gamer so i havent played that many scary games .....
