I was looking through some of the pages with comments and couldn't help but notice that I didn't see a single manga by Asano Inio!
Some of my favorite mangas:
- Dengeki Daisy - Saw this one a lot in this thread and they are right. It is awesome!
- Alive - The Final Evolution - I've read this one so many times and I still love it. One of the best mangas I've ever read.
- Any Manga by Asano Inio - Serious. Anyone who likes some psychological drama in one of the best art styles I've seen, Read some of his manga! (ex. Solanin, Hikari no Machi, Umibe no Onnanoko, Subarashii Sekai)
Recommended:
- Asano Inio - Just because he is awesome, his stories are awesome, his style is awesome. The first time I found out about him, I spent DAYS reading his manga. I just couldn't get enough.
- Nodame Cantabile - Even though there's no music in the manga (of course), I liked the manga beter than the drama. The awesome characters make you want to keep reading it till the very end.
- Usagi Drop - Love this manga, everyone should read it. I think the ending was kinda weird but the awesomeness of the rest of the serie makes up for that.

my favorite mangas are dgrayman and air gear. I own both of these and am still buying the latest issues for both.
i would recommend both of these but air gear especially although it gets messed up later on in the manga.
