So, I haven't read a whole lot of manga and mostly have just watched anime. I've considered reading the Naruto and Bleach ones, even though I've watched the shows up to date, and recently started the Death Note manga. I was wondering if anyone had any good recommendations for me?

i love this because promising story

I just started a manga today called Saint Oniisan. It a story about how Jesus and Buddha are living together as room mates on Earth and It's a great read. I've been laughing so much. It's made by the same creator of Arakawa Under the Bridge (A manga which I also find hilarious) and I definitely recommend it to anyone who likes gag mangas. It also won an award!

"Kiss" is good and I Ioved "Fruits Basket". Skip Beat is adorable.

Yessir, let me enlighten you my friend.

Shingeki no Kyojin - While you might not enjoy the art as it is different from Alive: The final Evolution's very clean looking images. The almost raunchy style only gives the story more character overall. I think you'll enjoy this one a lot if you find yourself still reading after 5 or 6 chapters.

Akame Ga Kiru - There are some dark topics explored in this one despite it's cartoony feel. It's an adventure with a reliable hero(i.e. he's not a total loser.) BTW, Death is a reality in this manga so if you get too attached to characters maybe this one isn't for you.

Wolf Guy Wolfen Crest - Very dark i.e. on screen rape, death's, and psychopaths. I only suggest this one because the protagonists is so absolutely "cool". I found myself enjoying his absolute power while dreading his inability to help the ones he loves. Do not read this if you are squeamish. Oh, and BEAUTIFUL ART!

GTO - It's old (i guess). But one of the most entertaining and fun mangas I've ever read. Give it a try.

The Breaker - Holy fuck nuggets. This is one of my personal favorites. And the Best Part. Character development. Jesus Fucking christ the action is incredible the protagonist's underdog story is very likable and the side characters and their stories are actually fun as well. Only problem is that you might find yourself lost towards the middle. But by then you'll already be hooked and the mangaka does a great job of touching base the moment you don't know what's happening.

One Punch Man - This one is the ultimate satire of 90's shounen manga. Fuck medaka box (actually, give that one a try too you might like it after about 20 chapters) this is the one and only gag manga i will every recommend, and for good reason. Oh and the art is brilliant when you take a second to admire it.

I really think you'll find yourself enjoying some of these. But god I wish you'd have asked for a romance list hahaha. I have enough of those to last you an enitre month non-stop. Btw, I never finished alive: the final evolution. Was the ending good or bad (no spoliers if you can. I might pick it up again).
