Bakuman is my favorite manga by far, it's not for everyone, but if you like anything slice of life and have an interest in manga I'm sure you'd enjoy it, if not you probably have terrible taste anyway and can't be helped.

My Top Mangas... hmmm

Fullmetal Alchemist~ Because it's just an over all fantastic, touching, and honestly very moving story. Anyone who hasn't read it... put your shit down and grab it! It was the first manga I had ever read and will always be my favorite. It has everything you could want, from action, comedy, life lessons, and just a touch of romance. The characters are also unique and quite lovable, you might even find yourself liking some of the 'bad' guys. I'm not quite sure how to explain it without sounding stupid but please take my word for it! Overall it's probably the only manga I'd give a 10 out of 10.

Durarara!!~ Given right now there are only 5 volumes released in English and it seems that the anime is far more popular I really recommend reading the manga. Don't get me wrong, the anime is one of my all time favorites but when you read the manga you get little thing you didn't in the anime. I know the tired cliche "The book is way better than the movie!" or in this case the manga would be better than the anime. You should definitely pick up the manga if you haven't read it yet, or your a fan of the anime or light novels, or if you like a good story with quite a few twists and turns. It keeps you on the edge of your seat, I found myself reading the first 3 volumes straight through when I bought them! I knew what was going to happen [saw the anime, and read the novels] but it still had me hooked. Please read it, you won't regret it!

Soul Eater~ Soul Eater is just really cool. Weapons, Meisters, Grim Reapers and Madness itself! I believe I said this before but, it is just so cool! The characters are quite attractive [personality.... and looks]. When I first saw the art style I hated it but after a while I was just to curious and I'm so glad I started reading it. Again, it's one of those books you cannot put down! It's a wonderful blend of comedy, action and just love it so much. The author is hilarious and I always look forward to the extras at the end of the manga. One of my favorite characters is Maka Albarn. I really identify with her and I feel really close with her character. She is only of my all time favorites, I mean just look at her precious face!

Also... please consider picking up the author Atsushi Okubo's side series Soul Eater Not!. It's a story based in the world of Soul Eater and is more a slice of life kind of manga. It's adorable and I really like it.

Pandora Hearts~ Another favorite. Really, really nice art. It's loosely based on Alice in Wonderland. By loosely based I mean it mostly just uses some names such as Alice, the Mad Hatter, The March Hare, ect. The story is set in the Victorian Era and is a little similar to Black Butler is that sense [dukedoms, maids, ect.]. The storyline is very creative and since Alice in Wonderland is one of favorites I really enjoyed that aspect of it. Warning! You can get really attached some of these characters and oh my god... have a box of tissues on hand when you get further in to this story. 8 1/2 out of 10.

Black Butler~ As I mentioned above in my recommendation of Pandora Hearts this story is set in the Victorian Era. The story centers around a young boy by the name of Ciel Phantomhive and his butler Sebastian Michaelis. I don't wish to spoil anything so I won't elaborate but these two characters, although they seem smooth, pretty, and sweet on the outside what lies beneath is quite the opposite. Along with an entertaining plot, attractive art and supernatural elements it makes for a great read. There is some... fanservice as well but it is not overbearing.

Blue Exorcist~ !!!!! Please read it. It gets of to a slow start but after that first volume things move along at a quick pace, sometimes I find myself re-reading the books to make sure I didn't miss anything. Right now there are only 9 volumes out in english and each one its quite thick compared to some other mangas. I really love the story as it has action, comedy, good character-development and it's very entertaining. I also want to mention how I always look forward to finishing the mangas and reading the extras as I find the author quite comical and cute.

Magi: The Labyrinth of Magic~ This if one of my favorites. I love that it's author drew inspiration from the One Thousand and One Nights story. [Mostly names of characters]. Set in the Middle-Ages in exotic locations it certainly is a treat to the eyes. The characters are refreshing and dynamic. The story has action, a little sprinkle of romance, and holy crap is it hilarious! I was brought to tears in the first volume, it's just so funny. But as the story goes along you find yourself getting very attached to the characters and some of them are just so fasinating I could just keep reading and reading about them for hours. 9 out 10, PLEASE READ IT.

High School of the Dead~ Holy crap fan-service! I was quite shocked at the high amount of fanservice. It really is quite ridiculous at times, some might even decide against reading it because of that. I love zombies, and this is obviously a story centering around a outbreak of zombies. I looked past the fan service because I can't find any other good mangas/ animes about said topic. If the fan service can be ignored, or tolerated, or even enjoyed by some of you you will find it to be one of the most enjoyable series you ever read. I love the different aspects of it and I would imagine that this is how it would actually play out if zombies did appear [minus the girls not seeming to ever wear proper clothes]. The characters are very different and I liked their different personalities. Please give it a chance!

Black Lagoon~ Pirates, Guns, the Mafia oh my! [I'm lame]. This manga is the very definition of BADASS. There are so many different things going on so it's hard to explain but if you like non-stop action combined with cool characters and pretty nice art this is a must. Be warned some of these characters have very foul mouths and sometimes can be offensive but it didn't bother me. 8 out of 10.

OKAY! So are all the ones I'm into right now! I am reading A Certain Scientific Railgun and I'm starting Kimi no Todoke, Fairy Tail, and the Melancholy of Haruhi Suzuyima but I don't feel like commenting on them since I haven't read them too much yet! [Also this is really long already] I hope you guys try some of these out! You won't regret it!
