As you may have noticed, the polls was released in the forums, and since then, many "duplicates" have been popping up left and right. In addition, many users have complained to us about how the polls feature seems to contradict the whole No VS Thread rule in the forum.

However, we would like to inform you, now, that the polls was created precisely for the purpose of removing VS threads from the forums. Instead of creating VS topics, users are advised to create poll topics, instead.

Therefore, please do not report or reprimand users for creating polls, despite existing topics. The truth is that we are currently planning on creating a entirely separate section for polls in the future. We're keeping the polls, for now, in anticipation of moving them to this section. Duplicate polls and whatnot will not be a concern, so there's no need to report for duplicate poll topics, either.

However, you may report poll topics that have any of the following content:

1. Non-PG13 or R18 references/topics
2. Spammy polls (e.g. items are random letters)
3. Polls that have topics of unclear basis for comparison
4. Polls that incite flames/arguments/racism/etc.

All polls are supposed to go into the poll section, regardless of their topic. The only exception, as of now, would be polls relating to CrunchyLand, since we're expecting a separate section for them, altogether.

Otherwise, you're probably just seeing some polls being created in different sections, when they should be made in the poll section. It's the moderators that move your misplaced polls to their proper place.
