True, but theres no point in making one if you have no money to donate >.<

Besides, its not like I'm saying I wouldn't donate because I don't know him am I? Not like some of these other jerks.

i'm a student at IU (indiana university) same as Bill's, and though he graduated before I started, his sister and I have been in many classes together (art history represent!) and are friends. so i'll say that if bill is anything like his sister, he must be a wonderful, interesting, fun, kind, and -decent- human being. i first heard and have been following the details about my friend's brother while i've been overseas as well, and though i'm in a very different part of the world than he was, the idea of being so far from my family and friends if something like this happened shook me. so if you think this is a scam, here is the facebook group his sister and her friend set up keeping everyone updated on news and also what started all the fundraising for Bill, while the parents have been in korea helping their son:
http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=8730028742
go read it. the amount of people who have come to donate and support the family, bill and his girlfriend (both of whom have passed away now) during this ordeal is amazing, and shows there is still selflessness in the world....so if you are a cynical person (i know i am) i think it'll open your eyes.
oh and p.s. the medical bills are currently $55,0000 and the total cost will be at least double that, and that excludes the $70,000 loan from the u.s. embassy the family just took out to transport him back home before he died.

and if you still don't believe any of this, here's the article from my school's paper - http://www.idsnews.com/news/story.aspx?id=49553&comview=1
