I read Deadpool. Freaking awesome. And I think Wolverine is waay overrated.

I don't read DC much though. I read mostly Marvel. Ghost Rider and Deadpool = Win.

Civil War is crazy right now. That's my current comic read.

My faves were also 'The Secret War' and 'The House of M'

French comics are nice as well, they are called Bande dessinée(BD, Bédé).
For example: Tintin, Astérix et Obélix, Gaston Lagaffe, etc etc

Take a look at this website if you are interested in French comic ---->http://www.zompist.com/frenchy.html

I love comics. I prefer reading a comic book to watching tv. About that poster who said that Wolverine is overrated....It's not the character's fault, when Marvel wants to punch up a series sales, by having it's most popular character have an appearance. DC does it to Batman all the time, but no one tends to bitch about it.

When Wolverine is in the hands of a great writer, he can be one of the most compelling characters in literature. He's Don Quixtoe , Clint Eastwood, Johnny Cash, and Sonny Chiba all rolled up into one package. He's a failed samurai. To the samurai , grace and honor is everything. Wolverine wants grace, but his basic nature is as about as far from graceful as you get. He has this ideal self that he wants to be and his friends try to tell him that he IS the person that he wants to be , but he can't accept it. That's what makes him a fascinating character. Like I said, when he's well written.

Logan is a great character but he is the wost written one too. the way each writer changes what he can and cant do. and how he almost never seems to show all the skills and training he has . bit when given a great writer its just great.

im also looking forward to Deadpools new book he been a fav since i 1dt heard of him

I agree. I like how he's being written in Astonishing X-men. Warren Ellis is doing a good job with him. Mark Millar wrote a good Wolverine, in Ultimate X-men. Chris Claremont and Frank Miller's first Wolverine limited series is still the best Wolverine book ever written.
