Also, it takes one month for a new claymore chapter. That means there are 12 chapters a year, not the normal 52. If the Claymore Anime followed the Manga, that would be AWESOME!

However, most people who does not read the manga would not agree. Especially since the current estimate on how long it'll take for Claymore to end would be at least 5 more years. Not many anime studios would make a sequel five years after the original air of the series.

Offline	Permalink Reply Quote Posted 3/10/08 Well, I watched the anime before reading the manga, and I quickly realized they fucked up, and when I say fucked up, I mean fucked up the plot and storyline, at least staying semi true, more so than they did would be nice. Then again, a lot of animes do that. They choose speed over the quality of the plot and overall show.

I understood the deviation from the manga.. it was to give the anime version more of an ending and conclusion. With that being said, I highly doubt if there will be a 2nd season to the Claymore anime. If there are plans, I am very interested to know how they will continue the story. At this point it seems impossible. As for the manga, I'm excited to know if Galatea will be joining the band.

I only saw tidbits of the anime so I can't really tell how they have deviated from the manga. anyway, the fight scenes in the manga are great, even the plot and character dev't are awesome.
