The first manga that got you hooked???

My first Manga, if you will give me a little leeway with the definition of a manga, was the DC comics adaption of "Project A-Ko". I picked up the 4 comic series in the early 1990's and I was instantly hooked. From there I went on to other anime' and manga titles such as "Tenchi Muyo", "Bubble Gum Crisis", "Inu Yasha", and whatever else I could get my hands on. For a long time I was hunting anything Japanese I could find in my local video and book stores. And I have never looked back.

Currently I'm reading the manga Bartender, and I'm really liking it. The story is very good, it has this mature feeling to it when reading. I love it so far.
