Well my interest in manga peaked when my penpals from Japan sent me a copies of Neon Genesis Evangelion to look through. After that I was immediately hooked by the crazy art styles and maturity of the content. I began to read lots of manga after that (I LOVE Bakuman!!)

I remember a friend introduced me to it in grade 4 or 5, and when I went to her house for a birthday party, I spent the whole time sitting in the corner reading Inuyasha (lol )
