its better than the anime... and faster,,, and lastly... anime turned manga = sucked if they r good but good if they sucked... for example.... rosario + vampire... the manga is awesome but the anime sucked... and bamboo blade... the anime is good but the manga is boring....

Well mostly the summary on the back, but I watch a lot of anime. Usually I buy mangas of the anime I've already seen.

It's usually the drawings that first grab my eye, but then I read the back cover to see if the story is something I;d be interested in... But if I get it as a recommendation from a friend or someone, then I might also try it right away.

i usually jus pick random manga from borders if they have nice artwork.
then i read the sypnosis and decide if its worth my time or not.
