the cover has to attract me then goes the drawing and the plot. Plus the characters have to be good

i would first lookout for the description /genre of the manga.. if it attracts me den i'll take a look at those drawnigs. if its good den i'll read it . hahaha.

it takes a few things to attract me to a manga

good storyline, character design, great fights,and the most important is keeping the story fresh and interesting

Everything, I don't like reading novels that much. I read a manga for its art and it needs to have a good story line with good characters otherwise I will just get bored with it fast. The art will also attract me to it.

Story line is most important,
but in my opinion, in a manga the art is also an important part in telling the story so if i dont like the art then i wont really get interested.
Characters are important too, especially the main characters because if the main characters are dumb or annoying that will put me of reading the manga altogether...
