When I run out of anime to watch I usually read manga. Especially since many anime series do not go as far as the manga does. Fruits Basket for example probably only runs up to where volume 8 is in the manga. xXxHolic and Tsubasa Chronicles are also examples. They barely crossover at all in the anime and they stop less than a quarter of the way through the series. Tsubasa did go a little bit further than that. But I have to read the manga if I ever want to find out what happens.

the overall quality .... i mostly look to see if a storyline is interesting ... but if it's a gag manga i really don't care much i just want my laughs  and if the storyline, the characters, the mangaka, and the overall feeling of the manga is good then it's magical |
