I really enjoyed it when reading and then where they left off with no updates for that long, it sucks. The translator might have dropped it or something? That's what I find weird about it. According to mangaupdates, Solaris-SVU updates on after every 1.7 days. Plus, they still say Bittern Virgin is active. So why not work on it? Is it that much of a minor project? >.< *edit* oh wait. I checked. If you haven't noticed, they always use the volume of Bitter Virgin for their scanlations...so I guess they were waiting for the volume to come out to then translate it. >.< |

I read the manga at first because of the interesting title.
But after reading a chapter or 2, I was hooked. I was about to judge a manga by its cover but after reading it, I really liked the art. |

So it seems more Josei to me.......>.>'' But I haven't read that much Josei so I'm not sure....... ._. Well in a way its one of those cross demographic kind of manga for Josei/Seinin. Just like how I read Shoujo manga... just because it says the target "demog" is young girls doesn't mean those outside that age or gender group won't read it. The author is awsome and I love her stories and artwork. Heck she' writes stuff better than the majority of male shonen/seinen writers out there. Guys are sensitive too *sniff* Midori Days manga comes to mind, and you've gotta see the man that made that book xD He looks like a yakuza xDlol, anyways, Bitter Virgin is just a beautiful manga through and through and makes you think about situations that have the possibility to happen to you or someone you know in real life. I can understand the depth because my mother went through certain aspects of that manga and you can understand the characters feelings on a much more personal level, and learn how to cope with it. |

Meh, from what I experienced, it was something like that. Crying over an anime is practically normal? I don't see people crying over Lucky Star or Gintama. |

GintokiSakata wrote: What I meant was animes w/ intense storyline, not ones which include comedy. Besides, I don't think you can generalize an anime based on Lucky Star and Gintama alone. P.S - There's a lot of sad scenes in Gin Tama, so I doubt that no one has cried over it. Then you should have said "anime w/ intense storyline". If you do not fully state what your point is, a reader might see your statement in a manner that differs from what you mean. |
