I didn't like the way everyone thought they would never last ... I wish they changed that

i agree with you there.. i didnt like the last part where they thought each should be better off with another more suitable person.. but overall the manga is really good

I agree. I didn't like the last part, but I guess it was an addition of realism into the story. I would rather they concluded it, but .....

Its not that they thought the other one deserved better, if you have ever been in true love, of course all you want is for your partners happiness, even if it is painfull

But what I didn't like is how everyone thought they wouldn't last because of the Girls Past... I didn't get how they would have to leave each other cause of that...

I loved the ending.
I mean, the reason why I liked the manga so much was because it was different, and realistic.
Most of those romance mangas brag about how the couple will be "together forever" (let's add some sparkles and little white bunnies!) but this one was very grounded.

When you are a teenager, no matter how you always wish you will be together forever, it isn't very likely to happen, because you don't know who else is out there in the world as you take a step each day toward infinite possibilities.

I loved the fact that those characters were mature enough to understand that they aren't necessarily the best match for each other, but they know they love each other enough to stay until they meet their "soul mates".

Also, it hints that maybe they might end up together after all...because Daisuke is most likely to grow more mature and Aikawa more cheerful...it's funny how they were totally blind to this possibility and how they want the best for the other

The ending was nicely done! Anyway, do you guys have any idea who the girl is in the picture? Like the reoccurring picture of this pretty girl? Is she the author?

I wouldn't really say it was too nicely done, but it does make sense. I wish the ending was a bit more smooth :'(

Well unlike other mangas that gave away too much details for the ending, Bitter Virgin only supplied us with sufficient details. Its much better that way. If you read the last volume of Harry Potter, you would know what Im talking about (pssh. such a tragic ending if you ask me).

Very Wise

especially the endless possibilities of when your a teenager, (took it in note:P) Maybe we are Blind, but isn't wishing and following what
we believe in that opens up so many opportunities? Isn't trying hard at something for a very long time, what opens up your doorway to many other
possibilities? If it weren't for Dreamers and Ex-Dreamers that tried but failed (even failing opens opportunities) where would be the world?
meh, as long as they really try, why couldn't they make it?

I first read this the morning before I went to church for Mother's Day 0.o It really made me think that day, especially after reading about Aikawa's abortion and the loss of Suwa-kun's sister's baby.
