You should! I've recommended this series to a ton of my friends and they've all loved it. It'll really suck you in and there are so many shocks and surprises. It's so, so good.

That's the problem. All the noobs rant and rave about shows like Naruto, but the 'smart people' are to smart to rant and rave about great shows like these. Then, sadly, not as many people hear about it or watch it.

Damn you smart people!!!!

Sorry. But everytime we explain in detail why a show is superior(rant), we get flamed by noobs/fanboys. We can handle them easily, but it isn't worth the effort.
Unless their "fav" show really sucks ass.

It seems too long for me to enjoy, I like them concise and intense. I read a review and assumed it was a watered-down Deathnote or Paranoia Agent

I know it's wrong to judge a show by it's review, but Inuyasha, Eureka, FMA, and Bleach really turned me off of 26+ episode shows.

Viewing Tip: Try describing shows by mixing other shows together and it actally improves your observation skills, then you can really tell an original plot.

Lol sorry, i was being kinda sarcastic when i said that last statement.

There's nothing wrong with that, that is something that happens in every topic. Now go back to the DBZ topics .

lol, but yeah, this is a wonderous show. Flash backs make it a little confusing sometimes, but your on the edge of your seat everytime an ep. ends. A horrible cliff hanger each damn time. I almost let myself watch it for an entire night.

x_x I've done that more times than I care to recall. Even when rewatching the series I'll find myself going through tons of episodes in one sitting. ^^; Sometimes I'll have to force myself to only watch a certain number of episodes at one time. More often than not, however, I find that it doesn't work, since there's always something revealed or something that happens each episode that forces me to proceed to the next.

Exactly, if you do manage to turn off the computer, you have trouble sleeping and try to watch it as soon as possible. It's been the cause of some of my major cases of procrastination on school work.

I have the first manga and even though I've only seen up to around episode seven or eight of the anime, I have to say that the plot line is amazing, and I've never come across any other like it! Also, the manga matches the anime exactly! The only differences are incredibly slight, and the art is very much the same.

hav'nt seen this anime but if it's short I watch it. (Nothing over 52 episodes for me.)

^_^; It's not your type of show, then. There are 74 episodes.

That just means its dedicated to the manga. Every episode tells 2 chapters in the manga. Most anime are 26 and 52. This one is different because its so close to the manga. I highly reccomend it because no episode feels like filler and most shows over 52 are shounen and tend to be long and dragged out. This is rather well timed and keeps you on your toes every second.

:) Truer words have never been spoken (..or typed in this case). I was blown away by how well the anime followed the manga.

Yes you should, everyone should give it a try (if you like this kind of stuff) but even then, I'd find it hard not to enjoy
