KAORI YUKI!!
shes my idol ( though she kinda let me down in Cain series ) her art is so amazing and i never seen anyone with her type of art. her stories are so beautiful and so messed up they are so dark and the way she draws things along with her stories, she invents some new world that had never ever existed before ![]() |

Yuu Watase is my role model mangaka. I love her work so much and the drawings are incredible. She knows how to create such creative stories and she just inspires me to draw manga and learn more about amazing japanese culture aside from all the anime and what not. I love her so much and I hope she continues to create more amazing manga for many years to come.

My favorite manga authors would be Naoki Urasawa and Eiichiro Oda. Urasawa drew the Monster and 20th Century Boy series, both of which are brilliant. Oda drew One Piece.

hm.....hard to say......
Shimaki Ako has good stories (LOVED Gekka no Kimi) and good art...but for some reason...she's just not my favorite. Furumiya Kazuko wrote Bloody Kiss and Kimi to Scandal....she has really pretty art but her plots are a little bland and unrealistic. Yumeka Sumomo (also known as Sahara Mizu) has really really pretty art (And I'm an utter fan of it) and good stories...except the fact that even though they're very realistic and touching...they're kinda uneventful..even though they do portray real life better than most shoujo manga artists. (Though it may because she has really soft art...which gives off this very soft, life-like vibe) CLAMP...they're popular...and they have really detailed work. But the problem with them is that their storylines get way out of hand..even though they totally match up and rarely have any plotholes, the confusion turns me off on their stories sometimes. Amano Akira (writer of Katekyo Hitman Reborn!) her art started out as mediocre/not as good as other artists, but now she's getting better at her artwork (by a lot) and her storylines are very well thought out. Oh Great! (Oogure Ito) even though he's an ecchi/hentai artist, he has REALLY pretty artwork. But the problem is that his stories are UBERLY slow and utterly confusing. I think he'd be a better mangaka if he just toned down on the fanservice and paid more attention to his storyline though. Takayama Shinobu has really pretty art...except that the fact that his stories are either VERY slow with the plotline or that they lack one. Like his most popular work, Amatsuki, has a very confusing storyline where just when it seems to get a visible plot, he changes it into something totally different. Miwa Shirow. I would KILL to get his art skills. They're utterly beautiful and realistic (to the point that can still be considered regular manga style) and his characters are pretty fully created. But his main lacking point is that the plot (which his story Dogs: Bullets and Carnage is finally getting) is SO slow that even after being written for two years it finally (although barely) visibly came up. Adachitoka and Kawashima Tadashi. I'm not particularly sure that I should be rating them....considering that the plot and the story line are by two different people...but even so, their partnership is a very good one considering they can create such a great story with pretty good graphics to not butcher it. (Alive: The Final Evolution) and finally Obata Takeshi. He's just an artist but with wonderful artwork. Though...I'm kinda curious what a story from him would be like. |
Big Bang (TOP and Taeyang) are the best stress relievers....and procrastinati...
