Ikeyamada Go - JUST THE BEST MANGAKA EVER ! :D:D Moe Kare!! and Uwasa no Midori-kun were just the best shoujo mangas ive ever read . not to mention the art of it >.> it's so cool ..
Minami Maki - author of Special A - hiliarious and cute shoujo manga ;D should read it .
Matsuri Hino - Meru Puri and Vampire Knight is just .. awesome . there's simply no other word for it . it's just cool read it !
Yuu Watase - cool mangas there's heaps of mangas, and theyre all awesome ! :D
Mimori Ao - author of B.O.D.Y - interesting n cool series ;D for shoujo readers :)

maki youko -- wrote atashi wa bambi, taranta ranta, aishiteruze baby, ect...
i love her art. it's very cute, pretty, and professional. :] the guys she draws are hot too. xD her mangas always have great plots.

kawahara kazune -- wrote koukou debut, ai no tame ni, and a few others. koukou debut is my favorite romance manga out of the 100+ that i've read. xD it's just so awesomely cute. <33

haruta nana -- wrote love berrish!, chocolate cosmos, saboten no himitsu, ect.. i haven't finished reading the first two that i mentioned, but saboten no himitsu was really funny and cute. :]] her art looks wonderul too.

sakai mayu -- wrote rockin' heaven, nine puzzle, peter pan syndrome, and some others. i LOVE peter pan syndrome. it's not my number one fave, but its a great manga. <33 it's very touching and cute. she too is a great artist.

tsukuba sakura -- i've read two of her mangas so far~ mekakushi no kuni and penguin revolution. again, CUTE. i love the stories. i actually wish i could meet her in person and ask questions about these mangas. xD

CLAMP all the way!~ I like all of their styles, which, for people who know, can be quite varied! Currently following TRC, xxxHOLiC, Kobato. They also did the character designs for Code Geass, which is a huge plus for that anime.

Bah, my fave mangaka would have to be Naono Bohra and Mamahara Ellie. Sadly both do very short series....pretty, but short. Naono has her pretty smutty yaoi whereas Mamahara has cute fluffy shounen ai xD
