there are alot of sales people out there who get the skills to sell things to people. but what do you think is the best approach for the sales people to get to the customers without being rejected.

What the hell kind of thread is this, seriously I thought the Bratz epidemic was bad but now we are helping sales people to know how to sell to us better without needing to figure it out on their own.

Oh and I know of no method that works on me since I pretty much shut them down before they ever start their annoying sales banter of stupidity.

Definitely sex appeal...sex sells =]

If you've got the looks, or the attire, then someone will pause to at least pretend to listen whilst secretly staring at your tight shirt or something ^^'

Someone reported this, but I don't see anything wrong here. Am I missing something?

Sales people are the best are PR. I hate PR.

But when you yourself hold a job in sales, it becomes your first priority and turn to persuade people to buy things. Forgive them, it's a job. Companies NEED these guys to do market research, and monitor product acceptance. Then again, people think they're annoying. Well, for me, I dislike people anyway, so it doesn't make a difference.

(If stupidity can be locked, I'll lock mouths. If knowitall-s can be locked, I'll lock and load and fire them in the brain.. but that's killing off the entire CR membership, so I'll spare a thought. )

To make sales, you need to appeal to your audience.
To sell them something you think they want/need.
You appeal to WHY they would need it, and how EASY it is to obtain.

if you believe in the product or service you are selling. then the sale will become much easier.

Example. I used ot be a top seller when i worked at blockbuster.
I sold the record 25 Rewards programs in a day.
I myself had the program and believed that it was the best thing for those clients to use.
It made the sales easy, it was like confiding in a friend about something so cool, that they just HAD to have it.

-cough- I wonder who could of reported this, any ways since I am finished being stupider than usual, It seems that duster pretty much has it pinned down as to the best way to sell to someone the main point is to come off as though you aren't trying to sell them anything but you are just trying to help them out with what ever product it maybe, you need to convience them that they do indeed need it like duster said or there is indeed no way they are going to buy it.
