It is a choice that I would not partake in.

Christianity says suicide is a sin
Suicide is basically an action of killing themself when someone see's that they have no other way out, or they just want to die etc. etc. etc.
I belive suicide is a sin, I'd rather be killed (sacrificed) then kill myself

Instinct at its finest, plain and simple.

My friends most creative way of committing suicide. you need a convertible, rod, fishing wire, duck tape, rock, small parachute and a good friend.

Wrap the fishing wire around your neck and attach it to the rope, attach the rope to a tree, take another piece of fishing wire and attach that to the parachute, duck tape your hands to the wheel and place the rock on the gas pedal. Do this on a straight road that will have you drive right thought the middle of town. This way everyone can see a headless body driving a car with their head flying behind them.

I never expected to LOL while reading this thread but I did.

I've read 1/3 of this thread, because I think suicide is a very important thing to talk about, and I plan on finishing this thread eventually.

For all of you folks eager to call suicides and prospective suicides "stupid, cowardly and weak" I ask you not to think about suicide from the perspective of the society that has to clean up, but from the perspective of the individual struggling with the responsibility of being alive. Do you think calling someone any of those names does a damn lick of good for helping them get back behind the wheel of their life? If anything, the popular stigma against suicide makes people considering suicide feel like insane outcasts that should be stopped from messing up things any further, when this is not the truth. The truth is everyone confronts their own mortality sooner or later, and shunning people for considering suicide just makes things worse.

Waht if you came up to more then 15( appr) years old and until this age everything's being down
family,friendship,love,school,everything
Everyday that person is left alone and rejected,
That one feels like he doesn't even exist in the universe
Or even that he feels like he isn't alive or belong somewhere
And if every day that person cries secretly and makes himself 'the emo thingies'
what if this person has NOTHING in his life
would that person still say to himself or like to be told «Don't Worry!Be Happy!»
Or even to himself that life is the best or 'i'm sure life would be better later so let's wait and live and suffer!'
I think that one would still better want to die.
That's my opinion.

But for suicide at 10-11...That may be by family problems,no?
If his/her parents are always fighting over something or a subject and the kid is opposed to that,
it surely destroys the love between parent/kid.

No offense.That's what i think.

Suicide is weakness and unfortunate. It is the wrong way of dealing with depression and it does affect others around you. We need to help the suicidal, but the suicidal need to help themselves as well. Depression is unfortunate and sad. I used to suffer from deep depression and suicidal thoughts. Depression can be overcome, and if one is lonely one must be friendly. You can't put all your stock in humans either because they can let you down. But when they do just keep on living and take life day by day. Jesus saved me from my depression (and no, not as a crutch) So I find my joy in serving the Lord.

I'm not sure why people decides to end their life when time gets tough. What about choosing other alternatives and seeking for help? One of the common reasons for committing suicide is lack of self-esteem. They think that if they end their life now, that no one will even notice their absence. People should open their eyes and look for warnings among their loved ones who might commit suicide and try to help them.

A lot of people panic and expect that hay since its been a complete bust this long its going to continue on. So why live anymore. That's what people think a lot of times when they commit suicide. And then there's time's when they do it halfway accident. I say this on the account of the retarded choking game.

Oh, I understand, but I'm still not quite sure about what the person is thinking about when they're committing suicide.

Well, on my accounts of attempting suicide. Sometimes its either the continuence of thinking of how bad yoru life sucks. Because they want todwell on it long enough to so they don't chicken out, or because they're totally depressed way deep.
When I was thinking about that I was thinking about how long it would take, how much it'll hurt, and how much grief everyone would be feeling. Or who would benefit from my death. That and who would feel so bad about it that they'd do somethign stupid. Stuff like that.

So what made you stop taking your life and stopped halfway? (If you mind me asking.)

My dad walked in, bit the living hell out of me and then sent me to the doctors. He then told me that if i was going to kill myself that he didn't want me doing it in his house. I dind't want to give the guy the benefit so I lived, then my brother handed me books and now I'm a Jashinist.
