OutKast

Review by: Raja613

Stankonia
Before there was The Love Below and SpeakerBoxx there was Stankonia which was the coming out of OutKast......this is when people started to get into them and when the true fans loved them!

The Feel:
The feel of this album to me is like their others just with a new and experimental side added to it. It has the Skits and the quirky songs that you expect from OutKast!

The Tracks:
Now we all know what a wonderful musician Andre 3000 is and with him teamed up with Organized Noise you know this shit was made for the car cruising! From my fave track "So Fresh,So Clean" to "Gangsta Shit" the music will have you dancing and vibin all day also featuring some interesting experiments like "Mumble in the Jungle" is a nice trakc to love and listen to!

The Lyrics:
Expect the same lyrical mastery of Big Boi from past albums and the cunning wordplay of Andre 3000....(with minor singing lol)!

Overall:
Buy this CD! NO EXCUSES! I give this one a 5

Crasyjak's Review of STANKONIA

The Feel of the album is Southern FUNKY/ HIP HOP- NEO SOUL sound. As to be expected from the duo, there's a nice balance of EVERYTHING.

NO 2 tracks sound the same. As to be expected, Dungeon Family members are appearent on 1/2 of the Album keeping it soulful & gangsta. Special Guests also include B-Real from Cypress hill throwin a lil bit of Westcoast gangsta flava in there.. & Andre 3000's former ex Erica Badu appears on a track to further enhance the soulful feeling that 3000 is known for. "BOB (bombs over baghdad)" has this whole church/hip hop feel to it that is RAW & dre 3000 is rappin at the tempo & speed close to Twista!!!

Dre 3000 doesnt do as much singing on the album as he did on The Love Below (honestly i prefer his rapping skillz) & he comes HARD as FCUK on "GANGSTA SHIT" Outkast raps about some real shit, no songs about Bling or bullshit.

OVERALL

if u an Outkast fan... u should already have this album... for ppl into a range of sounds ADD this to your CD collection *BREAK!*

5 outta 5

Project Pat

Review by Raja613

Layin Da Smack Down!
This too me is a classic one from Project Pat.........one of the best albums he came out with that most people have probably never heard of nor gotten!

The Feel:
Project Pat's albums always have the feel of some plain real nigga shit expect it from this one as always! And with a few tracks that shows Project's Pat versatility as an artist!

The Tracks:
Made by his brother and long time best friend (DJ Paul and Juicy J) you know this shit is ridin for all the crunk music people out there........it even features the beat "I Choose You" from the "Player's Anthem" (Side Note: Project Pat was the first to ride that bitch out!......and for the idiots.....T-Pain is not singing I'm sick of people saying that!)

The Lyrics:
Project Pat has always had a way with words to make you laugh and just making you think about some crazy shit! Though his lyrics are based on his delivery............I must say that they are indeed entertaining to listen to!

Overall:
I'm between D/L and Buying it........I'm going to buy it again for the 3rd time cuz it's just that precious so I'm giving it a 4

Chris Brown

Description:
This album is Chris' sophmore effort, and although it may be a cliche album to talk about, I really wanted to do a review on this. To me, this album sounded great. It's definitely worth the price you pay, and every song is catchy. With the help of great producers *ahem* this album is going to be one of his most remembered. And as Chris Brown stated, this album is exclusively for his fans.

The Feel:
This album is very diverse in many aspects of music. It has smooth and slow songs. Fast and bouncy beats. The classic, acoustic guitar-sparked-by-Irreplaceable track. The producers really stretched the field out and gave Chris a chance to show his diversity in every sub-genre.

The Tracks:
Bouncy, dance-inviting beats like 'Kiss Kiss', 'Throwed', and 'Picture Perfect', hook the bodies of many thriving dancers. On the other hand, sweet, slow songs like 'With You' and 'Take You Down' steal the hearts of his young female fans. Me, being a producer, I couldn't help but acknowledge the bonus track, 'Fallen Angel', produced by none other than Bryan-Michael Cox. All the tracks were great, and its an album I still continuously listen to everyday.

The Lyrics:
As with all Chris Brown songs, everything is about his love life. There is not one song he's sung that's not about love. I guess the tracks are made mostly for female fans, but of course, guys can appreciate them too.

Overall:
All together, the album receives a 5 from me. I really enjoyed it, and the album received help from a lot of great producers (with that I'd like to add that you should always check out who produces the beats if you like a certain songs' style). Great job Chris, and HOLLA (I got tracks bitch)!
