Haha my old high school (Private - All Girls/Boys) is the least picked! I really liked the private schools I've gone to (now I'm in public university). In my opinion private schools have better academics, discipline, etc. I still met a variety of people in terms of religion, ethnicities, and economic standing. It's true that since the tuition $8,000 a year, mostly only people who are able to pay that much go there, but there are/were girl there on scholarship so I still got experience and learned about people who were super super rich, and had a lot of money troubles.

This sounds cheesy, but another perk was safety. The whole time I was there we never had locks on the lockers and stuff only got stolen 3-4 times. I never saw a physical fight while I was there (though we were all girls, there for in general less aggressive).

Anyway, I choose private schools <3!

Because they trusted everyone not to steal O_o and it worked except for 3-4 times like I said =). That was 3-4 times in 4 years too, so really that's not bad.
