I would say that it is really the best manga/manhwa ever! It is the story that I wouldn't wanna change a single hair on the characters, the plot is great, the art is awesome, it is really the one of it kind.
I think I would never find anything like this.

agreed

And that part also made really, really sad

Oh yeah, don't forget about the story between Munsu and that girl he liked (what was her name again?). It really moved me to tears T_T

I would really wanna see anime series for this one, I mean the real series, not just movie for an hour, but a normal series with all the stories in plot!! ))))

Oh, thanks, i keep forgetting the names, it's hard to remember (except for munsu, he's awesome.).
Yeah, they should make this into anime ! It'll be interesting to watch , as long as they don't cut off the important part like some of the manga-adapted anime, that is. And btw, they made a movie? Where did you watch it ?

Yup, there is a Shin Angyo Onshi / 新暗行御史 / Blade of the Phantom Mask Movie, published in 2004 and release in 2004-12-04 maid by Japanese studio "Oriental Light and Magic" and Korean studio "Character Plan". It was distributed by The Klockworx in Japan and Cinema Service in Korea.
The film is an adaptation of early comic chapters, covering the stories of Munsu's desert encounter with Mong Ryong, his subsequent quest to free Sando, and one of the pair's early adventures together.

But it is NOT the whole story, so it has the feeling of incompleteness.

That ending was surprisingly gritty and realistic (as realistic as a fantasy manga can be) sort of ending. Instead of suddenly coming down with some random and convenient super!great!hero!power! at the very last minute, he... well you'll have to read that to find out. wink All the lose ends were tied neatly and supported previous chapters, so it's clear that the author thought through the plot, which can be rare in lengthier manga.
