yeap. I kinda loose my interest when this happens and I also know myself, if the artwork or drawings arent the ones I like it wont keep my interest for long unless its like extremely good.

I can't really get into it if the drawing isn't to my tastes;; I'll be picking it apart 'till the point where I lose interest in the story and drop it

Yes I am guilty of doing that, i've not read certain manga's because the cover looks like it's a serious manga, or looks like it might be shoujo, or even BL underhints.
I've given a few the benefit of the doubt but more times than not i've found that the manga is actually not far off my initial reaction and end up dropping it anyway or the artwork it too dull that I can't get into the manga at all even if it comes highly recommended.
