Saiyuki and Saiyuki reload
the story...good story plot but the story doesn't really get anywhere, they fight with youkais and then they try to go west and they they fight more youkais...
the drawing...really great drawings, but somtimes the drawings r alittle inappropriate...
the episodes...sucked! they destroyed the art and the characters. They could have done better
the's okay, I havn't really notice any mistakes
the characters...great, not too many either
the originality of the's not very original since the writer just upgraded the characters from the chinese legend, Journey to the west

the story...good story but why too long, when is it going to end???
the drawing...really simple and not really impressive
the episodes...why r there soo many fillers??? I hate fillers D<
the translations...I can take the manga translation but there r some mistakes in the anime translations
the characters...great characters but I don't think there should be so many characters in this manga

the story...

The story begins as basically the journey of one teenager named Koyuki into the music world. He then joined a band named Beck or MCS. They had a lot of trials even before they began their career. The story is great and inspiring, especially to me who had similar dreams but never really had the guts to follow it.

the drawing...

Harold Sakuishi sensei's style is clean and fresh. He drew the details in such a way that nothing's a waste. Sometimes there are scenes where minor details are missed but it all boils down to the fact that his style is new. I'm always drawn to the scenes in the manga.

the characters...

The characters are unique. I love the fact that each character has their own talents and they develop it as the the story progresses. They have their own demons that they had to face in order to become a successful group. As I continue the story, i feel closer to each of them.

the originality of the story...

Hmmm... The story is pretty much original since this is the only manga I've read about the makings of a rock band. However, the events of the story are pretty much what every band has been through. Before any band can succeed, they have to make some sacrifices (like quitting school). I love Beck because I know, this would've happened to a band (I'm just not too aware about all of 'em). *grin*

vs anime...

I love the fact that the anime had songs in them. It was very touching and the music was good. I liked it too but not so much on the style. But anyway, i prefer the manga since it continues the story of the band. Woo!

Bleach's battle are simple overpowering games.

Also, whenever you think one of the cooler characters is going to become stronger or think strategically and win, some other stronger goodguy just comes along and wins their battle for them. I really hate how all the cool characters (Chad, Uryu, Renji, even the Vice Captains like Kira and Hisagi) are getting their asses saved by people I don't care for in the slightest. The fights are just shallow and lame.
