I am an avid gardener. I love creating garden designs, and choosing the plants, and watching them grow.
I love digging in the earth and planting and weeding... ok not so much the weeding, but the rest of gardening i love!

I created a japanese inspired garden out of my flat boring lawn, and for pic of it see my profile Dusterbayala in the pictures.

I was wondering if there were any others out there who loved gardening as i do!

Also i'm willing to entertain requests for information on plants, gardens, and even give design assistance... feel free to ask!

I'm another gardener. To be more precise I help my parents out with putting mulch down, digging stuff up, planting, chucking slugs over the fence etc. etc.

I'm definitely going to have a garden as an adult, preferably a large one, so that I can have a sit-on mower, and separate the kids from the flowering plants (footballs and flowerbeds don't mix well XP).

i hate to work in the garden. 95% of the times i worked in the garden it was against my will. i have to pull out the weeds and stuff. the other 5% when i work in the garden is when my moms tired and she wants to keep the garden tidy :/. i sweat my ass off,its no fun.

Theme... I'm not sure yet. I reckon I'll have different beds devoted to different colour schemes, and a wild area, and a large lawn at the far end. Think of a "typical" English garden and you'll get the general idea. I wouldn't try anything really fancy... I doubt I'll have the time to spend.

^ Roses are terrible plants, most of them succumb to black-spot, which is really difficult to treat. There are one or two resistant varieties, though most people don't think of those. Don't water your plants too much as well, you can drown them or rot their roots.

I kinda like gardening. It helps me get my mind off of things. Mostly all I have now are potted plants and most of them are my mum's. I have a little Boston fern (it needs a new pot though) and I also have a rose I planted in my backyard. it was only 2" tall when it first started growing and then after I moved to a new house and re-planted it it is about a few inches more than 5 feet tall. I want to get some bamboo, because down here in Florida it seems to grow like wildfire. I also want bonsai trees, I have always thought they were cute. :3

I'm not so big on realistic gardens so much as I like surreal-like gardens (not sure what else to call it) I like the idea of like outside toilets with flowers growing in them. I like to see the outside of a house look like the inside with a twist. It's hard to explain haha.
