karneasada 1735 cr points 21 / F / norcal | Posted Dec 18 2006, Edited Dec 18 2006 Quote If I'm not mistaken, I believe there has yet to be a pet thread. So post them biitches. :P Meet Taco (left) & Paco (right)... ![]() ok...I'm not Mexican but I just realized almost all these names (my sn, the names of my rabbits)...are Mexican-related. I HAVE NO IDEA why. PURELY, coincidental. ...& Benny ![]() ![]() But he's waaaay bigger now -- this was a while ago (just look @ the date). I don't have a recent pic, but know that he's about 94389x as big. *Pardon the huge-ass pics. |

sabbacc108 ![]() 1215 cr points 22 / M / Marina, California | Posted Dec 18 2006 Quote I suppose I have nothing better to do than post these. ![]() This turtle is named Squirt. He originally belonged to one of my brother's friends, but he really couldn't take care of it, so he gave it to us. This picture is pretty old, and right now he is about nine inches from head to tail, and eats little frogs and fishes. ![]() This is Bella, technically my mom's dog (since she's the one who got Bella from the ASPCA), but really more me and my brothers' (if you count who actually likes and takes care of the her). She is the most patient dog I have ever seen in my life. Kids have done all kinds of crazy shit to her, and she just rolled her eyes at them. She likes bread and cheese. Both at the sime time, if possible. |

mauz15 46910 cr points | Posted Dec 18 2006 Quote The only Mexican thing I see there is Taco. You don't know what Mexican is. It is as if the name of my pets were George and Stephen and then I said they are Australian-related. Anyway, that's a cool puppy you got there. I always wanted one of those. Right now I'm trying to decide between getting a puppy like that or a cat ![]() |

sabbacc108 ![]() 1215 cr points 22 / M / Marina, California | Posted Dec 18 2006 Quote Tough choice. I would go for a cat, just because they pretty much take care of themselves once they're grown. And I think they're real cute. Puppies seem to get less cute faster than kittens do, in my opinion, but I'm probably biased. I would totally own a cat, except that half my family is deathly allergic to them. |

Pardon me for clumping them all together or not being PC or whatever but uhhhh PACO is a Mexican name. It's short for Francisco. Get a cat. They're cleaner and easier to take care of. You just kinda let them do their thang. ishiro_yumeshi: haha i bet jumpy is...jumpy lOl. and they as cute as buttons. sabbacc108: hooray for turtles!!! my cousin once had 2 mini ones and named them Louis & Clark.... hahah get it. Mexico is a country, not a synonym for the Spanish speaking world. Or maybe you are right and Spain stole the name from Mexico before the country even existed . *edit: that sounds kind of rude. Sorry, it was not my intention; and meh who cares about this anyway.Back on topic, I guess I'll go with the cat then. I'm thinking of getting one of these ![]() I think is a Chartreux cat Does any of you know if this is a good breed for someone who never owned a cat? |
