Once in awhile shouldn't be too bad... who knows, it may even be good for you. LOL Yeah, I know I'm pushing it.

I agree with you, it's just another word.

i admit to the occasional curse when speaking but I dislike cursing in general. it's not that it's over-rated it's simply that it shouldn't be used that often b/c it's meant to express extreme emotion. which shouldn't be normal/common/every day and if it is, then you should see a shrink.

Swearing is a way to express anger.. i think it's fine if it's used in the appropriate time...

I don't like people when they swear in public it's offensive and i don't care for it. It's ok if you swear at your home other than that no. I mean they are children around and well people who swear are annoying.....No ofence to anyone here. I don't swear I use other words to express my angry

Swearing in my opinion is definitely over-rated. Obviously children, and literally, children at the age of 10, have begun to swear. That's just how it goes within my neighborhood, ya know? =l Shows how corrupted society is.

I agree. They are better words to express your feelings. Besides children shouldn't be swearing specially at such young age. Then again it really reflects how the parent deals with their child and what environment they are in.

It is.
It's become apart of the vocabulary even to middle school
students and elementary students here.
I don't understand the concept of using a swear word
in every sentence.

To me, it just shows lack of thought,
professionalism or mannerism,
and demonstrating how vulgar your vernacular is.

If you're really upset or whatever,
then sure, by all means, vent and scream it out.
But it's annoying when you're
cussing in every sentence that comes out of your mouth.

If the children are in a not-so-clean environment, I guess it's understandable.

But truly, why is it that the younger ones like to swear? =\ I've always wondered. No offense, but it makes them seem like immature idiots who cannot control their anger.

I agree but if you think about it everybody swears and the TV doesn't help at all. Not only children but young adults as well. They think theya re "cool" by swearing which at the end makes them look stupid and retarded and well illiterate.

Umm......it's not overrated. Ahem.
It's a bad habit. I can't stop myself since it's so much easier to use cuss words than to actually use proper English.
